India to Remove Allama Iqbal Written Chapter “Saray Jahan say Acha Hindustan Hamara” From Syllabus

Buzz Feedz: Delhi University Academic Council has revised its syllabus by removing 'Saray jahan se acha Hindustan hamara' written by the great Allah Iqbal. The chapter "Modern Indian Political Thought" was included in the 6th year undergraduates' Political Science books and focused on Iqbal's poetry.

The decision received full support from the right-wing student body, claiming that Iqbal was a supporter of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and therefore plays a role in the partition of India. However, the final agreement will be made by the Executive Council of the University of Delhi.

Iqbal's poetry 'Saray Jahan crouches' is a tribute to India and is a widely recognized poem. This debate reflects the complicated ties between India and Pakistan, as well as the different perspectives on historical events.
